It’s here! Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton just released their highly anticipated collaboration on a new track, titled “Say Something.”
The music video has quite a cinematic appearance to it. It opens as we see Justin spinning the “Say Something” track in an empty room before he finds Chris Stapleton on a grand stair case.
The pair play guitars as they jam out to the track and are joined by a chorus of background singers in the song’s music video.
“Sometimes the greatest way to say something is to say nothing at all,” the duo sing for the song’s epic chorus.
This is the first new track that the pair has released, but it does not mark their first collaboration by any stretch. Timberlake and Stapleton first came together for a performance of “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Drink You Away” during the 2015 CMA Awards.
Plus, Stapleton joined Timberlake on stage during Tennesee’s Pilgrimage Festival in September.
“Say Something” is the latest release from the Man of the Woods album, which drops on Febraury 2. Timberlake will take to the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show two days later.
Meanwhile, Stapleton looks to take home the GRAMMY award for Best Country Album this coming Sunday in New York City.
