One of the biggest wedding ceremonies of our lifetime will now include a Lifetime movie.
Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story will chronicle the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Lifetime’s head of programming, Liz Gateley, shared the news at a Television Critics panel this weekend. There aren’t too many details about the project, but we expect that the movie will air before the couple’s wedding day (May 19, 2018).
Lifetime is no stranger to making a movie about the romances of the Royal Family. A movie covering the love story of Harry’s older brother, William, aired just days before his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.
Menhaj Huda, who a 2017 episode of the fictional TV show “The Royals,” has signed on to direct the made for TV movie, according to Deadline.com.
Meanwhile, casting for the movie is underway.
